The Polini Evolution Slider compression spring is used as a replacement for the original compression spring to ensure the V-belt does not slip on the pulleys and therefore lose power. Unlike other compression springs, Polini has chosen to deliver theirs with a plastic guide that reduces friction between the clutch and spring. At Polini, the thicker the spring, the more pressure it provides.
